In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be ashamed;
In Your righteousness deliver me.
Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly;
Be to me a rock of strength,
A stronghold to save me.
For You are my rock and my fortress;
For Your nameโ€™s sake You will lead me and guide me.
You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me,
For You are my strength.
Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
You have ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth.

PSALM 31:1-5 (NASB)

  1. Oh, when I wrote my comment, I hadn’t seen your video, Alan. Now I have watched it, and listened to your wise words. May many, many people see this today, and turn to God, our refuge in these terrible times XXXXXX

  2. Amen & Amen!!!! Thank You Lord for Your Word from Ps 31 that we pray back to You for Ukraine. We cry out O Lord for the people of Ukraine together with our brothers & sisters who are all under siege. We cry out O Lord for all the children, the elderly, the afflicted, we cry out to you for every single person there young and old. We look to You O Lord for You alone can deliver them and bring an end to the horrible suffering of war. Remember Your church Lord. Be with them. Strengthen and protect them for such a time as this. Thank You that Your word is true. Thank You for Your loving-kindness and for Your mercy Lord. Help us, O Lord to intercede for them at this time of dire need. We love You Lord and we know that You are on the throne. Help us to continuously lift them up in prayer throughout the day as our brother Alan exhorted us to do. Thank You that You hear our prayers and that You will answer Lord. We pray that many will come to You at this time and that the Light of Christ will shine brightly in Ukraine!!! In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN.

    “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.” Ps 46:1-5

  3. A powerful statement, indeed, brother! The Bible still speaks directly to lifeโ€”hundreds of years after it was written. You are correct. We are safe in our homes, while many in the Ukraine have been forced to leave theirs due to war. Prayers and support must continue. Blessings on the rest of your day, brother. Mine is just starting.
